National wisdom is coded in the ornamentation of folk art
works. Lithuanian weavers create patterns from structures, one
two, three and more sizes elements. They give them different
names. Local culture has common features with European folk
art. No wonder that Homer compared works in fabric with the
order of the universe. Textiles maintain various links with the deepest
cultural layers: the pace of social life, world outlook, economic
and political development, and reflect the creator's psychology.
Some motifs in gallery are different from weaving patterns
because they are unique.
